Can I purchase Armazém dos Linhos products and fabrics online?

The Armazém dos Linhos online shop was designed to help you find what you are looking for simply and easily. You just need to browse through our products, add the desired items to your cart, and complete your order.

Which countries do you ship to?

We ship worldwide! The customer is responsible for all shipping costs as well as any customs duties. If your desired destination is not available on the website, please email us at shop@armazemdoslinhos.com with the items you wish to order and the delivery address. We will then provide a proposal for the associated shipping costs.

What is the minimum unit of purchase for fabrics by the metre?

The minimum unit of sale on our website is 1 metre.
1 unit = 1 linear metre.
If you wish to request intermediate quantities (e.g., 0.5m or 1.5m), please email us at shop@armazemdoslinhos.com.

Do I need to wash the fabrics before making them into products?

For most fabrics, we do not recommend washing them before use, as they are sold with the necessary finishes to prevent shrinkage.
The exceptions are linen and raw cotton, for which we recommend wetting and letting them dry before use.
Please follow the care instructions provided for each product/fabric in the washing instructions section.

Will the fabric colour match what I see on my monitor?

At Armazém dos Linhos, we take great care to accurately describe our fabrics and present high-quality photos to ensure customer satisfaction. However, the colour of the fabrics may differ slightly from what is displayed on your monitor.

Can the fabric be cut widthwise or sent in multiple cuts?

Our services do not include widthwise cuts. The fabric will be sent as a single piece according to the length specified in your purchase.

Can I choose different finishes for traditional fabrics?

Yes, when purchasing traditional fabrics, customers can choose their preferred finish. We offer two options: with waterproofing or without waterproofing.
The waterproof finish involves a resin coating applied to the fabric’s surface, providing stain resistance.
To purchase, follow these steps:

1. Select the desired pattern.
2. Choose the colour.
3. Indicate your preferred finish.
4. Specify the quantity/metres.
5. Add the item to your shopping cart.

What payment methods are available?

In our online store, you can pay using the following methods:

Bank Transfer

If you pay via bank transfer or direct deposit, please include your order number as the reference. Your order will not be dispatched until the payment has been confirmed in our account. This process can take up to 48 hours. If payment is not made within 48 hours, the order may be cancelled.

Multibanco (Portugal only)

Payment can be made through Multibanco’s “Payment of Services” feature, using the provided entity and reference, either at an ATM or via your home banking service. This option is only available for customers of Portuguese banks.

MBWAY (Portugal only)

Payment via MBWAY is available. This option is exclusive to customers of Portuguese banks who have the MBWAY app and an activated account.

VISA, Mastercard and American Express

We also accept simple payments using credit or debit cards.

Are the online store prices the same as the physical store prices?

Online prices are the same as those in the physical store and include VAT at the current applicable rate.
Shipping costs will be added to the product price and detailed during checkout. For shipping cost information, see the Shipping section.

How can I get my invoice/receipt?

You can request an invoice for your order as an individual or a company.
Your invoice will be sent along with your order. If you do not wish the invoice to accompany your purchase, please inform us by emailing shop@armazemdoslinhos.com.

Does Armazém dos Linhos sell to professionals?

Armazém dos Linhos offers a special pricing and conditions table for professionals. For more details, please contact us via email at shop@armazemdoslinhos.com, and our commercial department will follow up with you.

Do you provide fabric samples?

Yes, we provide small samples at a fixed cost of €4.50.

Do you offer product customisation?

Yes! Armazém dos Linhos strives to meet the specific needs of each customer, offering customisation options such as made-to-measure tablecloths, embroidered napkins, lampshades, wedding favours, and more.
